How does my steel penny post have so many views in two hours ??? That’s about five times as many as the average Oppo post gets in its lifetime.

people are always trying to look for ways to steal pennies or fractions of a penny in an effort to garner overnight wealth like the boys from office space. your post simply triggered countless google alerts for “steal” (the smart folks out there had mistype options in their alerts) and “penny”

I got well over 40k with “Hellcat Wrangler” despite the complete lack of content  so if you want to really game the algorithm, figure out how to incorporate that into every post.

All you really need to do is learn alchemy then turn you copper pennies into steel pennies. If each steel penny is worth 50cents you’ve just multiplied your money by 500.

Kinja actually has stellar SEO. If you write about a topic that’s currently popular  you can end up on the first page of Google results, and then the views snowball from there.

Everything can be blamed on swamp gas. An occluded front struck the Atchafalaya Swamp in Louisana causing a large amount of methane rich swamp gas to be emitted. This blew east and struck a Google data facility. Voila! That’s where your views came from. The swamp gas made an algorithm anomaly .

Seriously though, I think it gets reposted to people’s Google and other feeds when certain criteria is hit. I haven’t had a ‘Ridiculous Diesels’ post go under 10k views in a long time. The highest has been 50k. There is no way those of us on here looked at it 50k times...
